The trencaspammers plugin has a new page in my wiki Feedback please !

A partir de ahora para escribir un comentario en este blog va a hacer falta escribir un código de seguridad para evitar que con ayuda de un programa se puedan hacer posts masivos. Encima lo he puesto a conjunto con los colores de la página:

Actualizado 20-Feb: en el fabuloso wordpress 1.5 ya no existe el archivo wp-comments.php al que se hace referencia en la mayoría de las instrucciones. Sin embargo ese archivo está en la nueva estructura de plantillas en /wp-content/themes/tu_tema/comments.php

    Hola, que tal?
    tu código me ha salvado de buena.
    Estube recibiendo un spam de comments de 80 comentários por 30 minutos de cada vez. Ahora lo he resuelto con esto código.

    Son la mima pasta y si uno me pone un post a mano lo borrare tambien a mano… ;-)

    lo instalé tal como está indicado en el readme.txt
    … pero no genera las imágenes :’(
    quizá haya que instalar algo más y no me doy cuenta de qué se trata. perdón por lo brutilla, es que aprendo al andar, no se mucho de esto

    Para generar los gráficos, el trencaspammers requiere que esté compilado e instalado GD, una librería gráfica que usan muchos otros programas que generan gráficos en php

    en realidad la ansiedad me llevó a preguntarle también a citeck quién me dijo exactamente lo mismo que vos. pregunté en f2o (hosting) pero aún no me contestaron si está el programa en el server

    No sé si sólo me ocurre a mí. Nada más insertar un nuevo artículo en mi blog se me añaden automáticamente 2 mensajes de spam. Luego ya no entran más, pero siempre tengo que estar borrando estos dos mensajes. Tengo instalado el trencaspammer.

    Está todo bien. Además funciona el trncaspammer correctamente. Lo único es que nada más añadir la entrada plof!, 2 comentarios de casino o similares.

    Si el spammer es un personajito haciendo los mensajes a mano, al menos sé que se lo ha currado.

    Eso de volver un fin de semana y ver 50 comentarios spameantes es desesperante (y sin haberlo planeado me ha salido un pareado).

    The plug-in needs the GD library, which I also don’t have. It won’t work with other image libraries, it seems.

    Uso wordpress con debian y he intentado implementar este plugin pero me faltan las librerias GD, pero… cuales? hay bastantes qué librerías usa este plugin?

    creo que bastaria con un apt-get install php4-gd2
    Otros paquetes disponibles son estos por lo menos en la ubuntu warty, me imagino que son los mismos que en otras debian.
    php3-cgi-gd - GD (graphic creation) module for PHP3 (use with php3-cgi)
    php3-gd - GD (graphic creation) module for PHP3 (use with php3)
    php4-gd - GD module for php4
    php4-gd2 - GD module (with GD2) for php4

    elige el paquete que concuerde con la version de php que estes usando, el resto de dependencias necesarias te las resolvera el solito

    it should be “global $ts_random,$sitekey;” where is “global $ts_random;”
    People should change the $site_key default value in line13 too. :P happy new year

    Hola, he conocido el plugin mediante un amigo y me ha parecido un remedio muy interesante y eficaz contra el SPAM.
    He intentado colocarlo en mi blog siguiendo todos los pasos, revisando el código y demás… y no hay manera de que se muestre la imagen en la página.
    He hecho un “version.php” a mi servidor para saber todos los datos del PHP que tengo instalado y me sale:

    GD Support enabled
    GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
    FreeType Support enabled
    FreeType Linkage with freetype
    GIF Read Support enabled
    GIF Create Support enabled
    JPG Support enabled
    PNG Support enabled
    WBMP Support enabled
    XBM Support enabled

    Trabajo además de PHP con ASP y ASP.Net por lo que utilizo un servidor Windows, ¿puede ser ese el problema? Espero puedan darme una solución. Un saludo para todos y gracias de antemano.

    Bufff, no me mostraba la imagen y me he vuelto loco revisándolo todo hasta que he caido en la cuenta de que la librería instalada en mi servidor (gratuito) JUSTAMENTE no tiene instalado el soporta para JPG.
    Lo he solucionado cambiando todos los JPG que aparecen en trencaspammers.php por GIF
    No sé si servirá a alguien, pero bueno…

    Solved the problem by copying the php.ini file to my c:\windows directory. Silly me, I was told that php would look for any php.ini specified in the path variables of my system, but when I did a phpinfo(), it told me that it was looking in c:\windows.

    acabo de migrar el blog a wordpress 1.5 con el trencaspammers incluido. lo he instalado segun las instrucciones salvo que el archivo wp-comments.php no existe en wordpress 1.5 y hay que usar wp-content/themes/tu_tema/comments.php en su lugar.

    Aleluya, gracias al comentario 97 por que me estaba volviendo loco viendo que aun siguiendo al pie de la letra las instrucciones, sabiendo que funcionan las GD libs y todo lo demas, a mi no me aparecia ni cuadrito, ni imagen ni nada de nada. Efectivamente aunque el fichero wp-comments.php exista, no se usa, se tiene que modificar el del theme que estes utilizando.

    saludos, enrique. el plugin funciona en wordpress 1.5.
    el problema que tienes tendra que deberse a la libreria gd. es imprescindible ya que es la libreria que usa el plugin para hacer el codigo. gracias por el agradecimiento :)

    Thanks for the plugin! It stops most of the spam I get, but sometimes something sneaks through. I put the code in wp-comments-popup.php, thinking that would plug the hole but I still get spam occasionally. Any idea why?
